IOI | Deadline for applications for regional subsidies extended

Following its call for applications for regional subsidies for the membership year 2014/2015, the IOI decided to extend the deadline for applications, allowing member institutions to turn in their applications for regional subsidies until 27 February 2015.

The overall sum of subsidies to be released in 2014/2015 amounts to 42,000 Euro. The amount will be split equally between the regions and will take into account that no subsidy granted should be less than 2,000 Euro. IOI regional subsidies can be used to either finance a project entirely or to co-fund the implementation of a broader project. Projects that involve several IOI institutional members are highly welcome.

The timeframe for the project should be appropriate to the project activities and should not exceed 24 months. Subsidies will be paid directly to the subsidy recipients after project implementation and submission of a project report including a detailed budget overview. Please note that the IOI audit guidelines will be applied to the 2014/2015 tender. A copy of these guidelines can be downloaded from the IOI website.

Institutional members wishing to apply for a regional subsidy are asked to fill in the IOI subsidy application form (see attachment) and submit their project proposal to the General Secretariat (ioi@volksanwaltschaft.gv.at) by 27 February 2015.

As in former years, the Regional Presidents will be asked to shortlist the most promising projects deriving from their respective region. The final decision will be taken by the IOI Board of Directors.
