The General Inspection Organization (GIO) of Islamic Republic of Iran hosted a delegation from the Turkish Ombudsman’s Office from 27 February to 1 March 2018. The Turkish Ombudsman delegation had a wide range of meetings during these 3 days such as a meeting with the high officials of the Judiciary branch, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance from Administration and Parliamentary committees. Also, they had a meeting with the President of GIO and his deputies. In accordance with a signed Memorandum of Understandingm extending working relations and enhancing cooperation in the field of inspection, supervision and ombudsman services were the main goals of this event.
On 6 March 2018, the President of the General Inspection Organization, Justice Naser Seraj, was hosted by Mr Ken Sanuki, Chairperson of the Administrative Evaluation Bureau (AEB), Japan. The event was to boost joint cooperation in accordance with the mutual Memorandum of Cooperation. Besides the meeting with Mr Sanuki, Justice Naser Seraj also had other meetings with Mr Katsuo Nishikawa, Attorney General, and Yoko Kamikawa, Minister of Justice. The goal of these meetings was to enhance long-term technical cooperation in joint interesting-fields.
