In June 2024, the Federal Tax Ombudsman Pakistan and the Institution of the Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco, both IOI Members, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the inaugural batch of the first International Internship Exchange Program.

During this program, the Federal Tax Ombudsman sent two students of law to the  Institution of the Mediator Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat for three weeks. The interns learnt about the best practices of providing justice to aggrieved citizens at the Institution of the Mediator Kingdom of Morocco. Soon, a batch of interns will be sent by Institution of the Mediator Kingdom of Morocco to the Federal Tax Ombudsman in Islamabad. This program aims at exchange of knowledge and strengthening of the Ombudsman offices along with empowerment of youth.

The Federal Tax Ombudsman, His Excellency Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah, and the Mediator in the Kingdom of Morocco and First Vice President of the International Ombudsmen Institute (IOI), His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Benalilou, are very enthusiastic about such programs which reinforce growth and professional training through the platform of ombudsman offices.
