INDONESIA | Mokhammad Najih appointed as new Chairman of Ombudsman office

The Head of the Master of Law Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Mr Mokhammad Najih, was elected as Chairman of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia by Commission II of the House of Representatives on Thursday, 28 January 2021 for the term 2021-2026.

The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia is an institution that has the authority to supervise the implementation of public services, whether organized by State and government administrators, as well as private organizations given the task of administering certain public services.

There are nine Ombudsman of Indonesia: Mr Najih, Chairman of the institution, Mr Bobby Hamzar Rafinus, Vice-Chairman and their Ombudsman colleagues Mr Dadan Suparjo Suharmawijaya, Mr Hery Susanto, Mr Indraza Marzuki Rais, Mr. Jemsly Hutabarat, Mr Johanes Widijantoro, Mr Robert Na Endi Jaweng and Mr Yeka Hendra Fatika.
