UK | Monthly News from the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman

This month the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman is laying three investigation reports about the health sector before the Scottish Parliament, and 97 decisions about all of the sectors under his remit.

Last month (in July), the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman received 534 complaints. He determined 496 complaints and of these he:

• gave advice on 304 complaints
• considered 150 complaints at our early resolution stage
• decided 42 complaints at our investigation stage.

In total, 95 recommendations have been made.
