ROMANIA | New People’s Advocate appointed

On 22 January 2013, Prof. Anastasiu Crişu was appointed as the People´s Advocate of Romania for a five year term by the Romanian Parliament.

Mr. Crişu is a law professor and PhD supervisor at the faculty of law at the University of Bucharest. He also worked as a lawyer at the Bucharest Bar Association and is currently the project manager of the research project „Implications of the enforcement of criminal judgments within international judicial cooperation in Criminal law domain”.
