Latvia | Ombudsman Juris Jansons re-elected

On 16 March 2016 the term of Mr Juris Jansons, present Ombudsman of the Republic of Latvia, will expire.

As the Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Latvia informs us, on 3 March 2016 Mr Jansons has been confirmed and re-elected as  the Ombudsman of the Republic of Latvia for another term of five years.

Mr Jansons expressed many thanks to all colleagues both in Latvia and other cooperation countries who have supported him in his actions and helped building the institution’s experience, capacity and influence.
