Salient features of the Annual Report 2014 are:

These statistics demonstrate growth of the institution and public trust and confidence in the Ombudsman office.
- Children Complaint Cell received 72 complaints for this period and most of the complaints were redressed. Agencies were directed to ensure enforcement of Childrens rights and take cognizance of such violations.
- With the extension of out-reach of Ombudsman to 16 Districts in addition, to facilitate remote areas people Mobile Offices are also under consideration.
- Ombudsman had noticed with serious concern that certain complaints frequently recur, which indicates endemic flaws in the system. In such cases, the Ombudsman Office had advised the Provincial Government to make necessary and appropriate changes in the rules so that the systemic and structural flaws are rectified.
