Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman Mario Hook Please presented the Office’s Annual Report 2013 which was laid in Parliament on 29 May 2014.
Ombudsman Mario Hook has noted the increase in complaints relating to employment services. He will monitor the performance of the service and, if necessary, will meet with senior management to express his concerns and offer the assistance of his office to identify and address pockets of concern.
Mr Hook has also provided guidance for service providers in relation to delays, service standards and reacting to the Ombudsman’s recommendations.
The report covers the period 1st January to 31st December 2013. It contains summaries of investigations undertaken and completed during this period together with reviews and comments of the most salient issues of this last year and is available on the website of the Public Services Ombudsman.
