IRELAND/UK | Annual Conference of the Ombudsman Association

Acting European Region President, and Irish Ombudsman and Information Commissioner, Peter Tyndall, spoke at the Ombudsman Association Annual Conference in Manchester on 15/16 May 2014. 

Mr Tyndall's presentation focussed on the work of the International Ombudsman Institute and challenges facing Ombudsmen worldwide. He also spoke about the Human Rights project involving Northern Ireland Ombudsman Tom Frawley.

The presentation was well received by those present which included Ombudsmen from the UK and Ireland, and senior officials from their offices. More information on the Ombudsman Association is available from the website.
