IRELAND | Ombudsman spoke at 30th Anniversary Conference

Ombudsman Peter Tyndall spoke at the Ombudsman 30th Anniversary Conference, entitled "Held to Account: Responsibility and Accountability in the Public Service".

The Conference was opened by Minister Brendan Howlin, and speakers included Dame Beverley Wakem, Chief Ombudsman, New Zealand, Jane Tinkler, Research Fellow at the LSE Public Policy Group, Baroness Nuala O’Loan, the first Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, and Kevin Rafter, Associate Professor of Political Communication at Dublin City University, and Chairperson of the Independent Panel on civil service reform.
