BackThe Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo published the Annual Report 2021. This annual report describes the general situation of human rights in Kosovo and the activities of our institution in protecting and promoting human rights for the period from 1 January - 31 December 2021.
Annual reporting of the Ombudsperson Institution in the Assembly of Republic of Kosovo is a reflection of the situation of human rights and fundamental freedoms during the reporting year as well as the overview of Ombudsperson’s work and the role, as an independent constitutional mechanism, in monitoring and assessment of the work of public authorities regarding the respect of laws, provision of services, good administration, transparency and accountability.
The Report contains findings of the Ombudsperson during 2021 concerning the cases of systematic and individual violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as recommendations, opinions, and proposals for undertaking measures, which contribute on enhancement of the respect of human rights as well as institution’s activities towards human rights’ promotion and awareness raising.
