CANADA | ONTARIO OMBUDSMAN TO RECEIVE AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE

Ontario Ombudsman André Marin will be presented with the Ontario Bar Association’s 2012 Award for Distinguished Service at an award ceremony to be held in Toronto on April 26.  

The distinguished service award represents recognition by Mr. Marin’s peers in the legal community for his exceptional career contributions to legal profession in Ontario, as well as the development of law in Ontario and the achievement of significant law-related benefits for the residents of Ontario.

The award will be presented to Mr. Marin at the OBA Annual Awards Gala, which will be held at the OBA Conference Centre, 20 Toronto Street, at 6 p.m., April 26.
