IOI | President Field is received by the Bishop of Karachi and Balochistan Diocese, visits Holy Trinity Cathedral and tours Mohatta Palace Museum

President Field was honoured to be received by the Right Reverend Frederick John, The Bishop of Karachi and Balochistan Diocese, for afternoon tea as well as for visiting the exquisite Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The Right Reverend John and President Field discussed the numerous good works that the Anglican Church undertakes in the Sindh Province. “May God bless he and his parishioners for this work” said President Field.

President Field also toured the ornately beautiful Mohatta Palace Museum, among its cultural treasures, vibrantly colourful handcrafted traditional clothing of the Sindh Province. The President then reflected on his time in Karachi, saying

“To the people of the Sindh Province who have shown me the most overwhelming level of hospitality and kindness, my gratitude cannot be expressed remotely adequately. To my dear friend Ombudsman Khan and my new friends of this vibrant, growing and wonderful nation, inshallah for the success of all your important work in the future and bahut shukriya”.
