Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), met with the Commissioner for Human Rights of Poland, Professor Marcin Wiącek, during his official visit to Poland.
“This afternoon, as an important part of my official visit to Poland, it was a genuine pleasure to spend time with my valued colleague, Commissioner for Human Rights of Poland, Professor Marcin Wiącek. Commissioner Wiącek was recently elected to his position. He is a very impressive individual and the IOI is grateful to have the Commissioner as a member. At this meeting, I was delighted to be joined by friend and colleague, Rob Behrens CBE, UK Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman and Vice President of the European Region of the International Ombudsman. I am also particularly grateful that joining Ombudsman Behrens and I was the Australian Ambassador to Poland, Mr Lloyd Brodrick” said President Field.
