IOI | President meets with His Excellency Mr Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, during official visit to Poland

Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), met with His Excellency Mr Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, during his official visit to Poland.

“On the occasion of my official visit to Poland, it was a great pleasure for me to meet His Excellency Mr Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland. I was delighted to be accompanied at the meeting by the Australian Ambassador to Ukraine, Mr Bruce Edwards” said President Field.

“Ambassador Zvarych shared with me a deeply thoughtful consideration of the current situation in Ukraine and we enjoyed a very warm exchange. I was able to indicate to His Excellency that the IOI stands resolutely and unambiguously with the people of Ukraine. As I ready to travel to Kyiv tomorrow as President of the IOI, the Ambassador’s insights will assist me greatly to ensure that my visit to Ukraine will further the commitment of Ombudsman and National Human Rights Institutions not just now, but also in the post-war period, after Ukraine has won the war” said President Field.
