President Field participates in live panel discussion at International Mediation Congress
Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and Western Australian Ombudsman, participated in a live panel discussion at the commencement of the final day of the International Mediation Congress, An approach to Conflict in the Global Agenda, held in Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, on 7 July 2022. This followed the very kind opportunity given to President Field to provide a Welcome Address to the conference on 5 July 2022.
Fellow panellists were Dr Pablo Ulloa, President of the Ibero-American Federation of Ombudsman (FIO) and Ombudsman of the Dominican Republic, as well as Mr Gabriel Savino, Ombudsman of Santa Fe and Director on the World Board of the IOI.
“I am particularly delighted to participate in this live panel discussion with President Ulloa and Ombudsman Savino. I hold your work in the highest regard. You are both very valued members of the IOI. It is also my strong desire to further strengthen cooperation, friendship and the significant mutual interests of the FIO and IOI and continue to collaborate with the outstanding Ombudsman, Public Defenders and Human Rights Institutions of the Caribbean and Latin American region” said President Field.
