IOI | President Walters welcomes re-launch of IOI website

Dear Members of the IOI!

I am pleased to present to you today the new web appearance of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI). User friendliness and full accessibility were the main objectives for this website re-launch.

The IOI’s new website allows full accessibility on all mobile devices. In combination with the use of Google Translate, regularly changing website contents such as the IOI News, will now be more accessible to the interested user. This will hopefully open up new channels of communication within the IOI membership and the international ombudsman community and be of value for all citizens interested in ombudsman-related matters.

This website re-launch also introduces a new feature: the IOI Case Database. I would like to encourage all members to log-in to the member area of this website and to contribute actively to this new tool, which will greatly facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices among colleagues on an international level.

Last but not least the IOI would like to express its profound gratitude to the communication working group for their vision and the IOI Secretary General and his team for the implementation of what I believe is now a modern and accessible website.
