The orientation which is running for a period of five days from 5th to 9th September, 2022, will see various carders of staff at the Hospital including Senior Management, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Radiologists, Biomedical Specialists, Health Environmentalists, Information Officers and General Workers oriented on professional conduct expected in the public sector and the negative effects of maladministration in delivery of public services.

The Public Proctor commends Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital on the initiative which will enhance efficient and quality public service delivery system at the hospital.

The Public Protector will continue collaborating with other institutions in providing information or assistance to State institutions for the improvement of administrative practices and procedures as provided for under the Public Protector Act No. 15 of 2016.

The Office of the Public Protector has embarked on Awareness activities aimed at empowering members of the general public to be able to voice out when they are aggrieved by the conduct of any civil servant, public official or public institution.

We are hopeful that these efforts will help in strengthening the effectiveness and performance of the public service delivery system and ethical administrative mechanisms in the country.
