PAKISTAN | SINDH OMBUDSMAN REAPPOINTED

Asad Ashraf Malik, Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, has been reappointed for another four years term. The Governor Sindh administered the oath of office to Mr Malik at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House in Karachi on 31st January, 2012.

Mr Malik joined the Police Service of Pakistan in 1972 as Assistant Superintendent, served as Commissioner of the Social Security of Sindh and as Chairman of Anticorruption Sindh from 2004 to 2008. In January 2008, Mr Malik was appointed Provincial Ombudsman of Sindh.

Mr Malik is also a member of the IOI Board of Directors and was recently elected as IOI Regional Vice-President for Asia.
