AZERBAIJAN | The Commissioner submitted her 2015 Annual Report

The Commissioner for human rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan submitted her 2015 Annual Report to the state authorities, namely the country President, Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers, and Constitutional as well as Supreme Court and to the Prosecutor General in conformity with the relevant Constitutional Law.

The 2015 Annual Report reflects the recommendation as well as suggestions made by the Commissioner during the year regarding the restoration of the violated human rights and main freedoms, which enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international treaties.

Hearing of the 2015 Report in the country Parliament is considered on 5 April, 2016. Afterwards, the Report will make available to the public.
