The Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia published a special report on the accessibility of centres of social work (CWS) for people with movement and sensory impairments. The report highlights the need to improve the accessibility of facilities or public social care institutions in order to meet the psychophysical and health needs of all users, especially those with impairments.
In its first section, the special report gives information on the accessibility of CSWs from the perspective of people with movement impairments. The second section shows accessibility problems of sensory impaired people. Lastly, the Ombudsman addresses a list of proposals to the Slovenian Government to improve the current situation.
