ANGOLA | The Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Angola released its Weekly Review

The Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Angola releases its Weekly Review highlighting the week between 22 August and 1 September 2023.

During this time, among others Ombudsman Ms Florbela Rocha Araújo responded to citizen’s concerns regarding land rights and permanent risk of eviction by meeting the responsible minister, participated in webinars regarding inclusion of human rights in higher education curricula and gender-based violence and harassment.

In addition, she attended the opening ceremony of the Regional conference of Pan-African Women’s Organisation on Climate Change.
