In its efforts to further increase the regional impact of the IOI, the members of the IOI Board of Directors decided at their recent Board meeting in Vienna to continue the regional subsidy programme for the membership year 2017/2018. Institutional members wishing to apply for a regional subsidy can submit project proposal until 1 September 2017.

Durante el encuentro, que se realizó en la sede de Adpra de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, el defensor santafesino Raúl Lamberto solicitó, con el respaldo de sus pares, que se restituyan todas las pensiones dadas de baja y que se derogue el decreto 432/97, para crear un protocolo donde se evalúe cada caso en particular y donde prime el principio de interpretación favorable del postulante a la pensión.
