In support of the objective of the I.O.I. to develop and operate educational programmes for Members, their staff and other interested people, the Office of The Ombudsman, Hong Kong and the Commission against Corruption, Macao are pleased to announce that, with subsidy from the I.O.I., a regional training programme on complaint management will be organised in Hong Kong and Macao between 21 and 25 May 2012 for the Asia and Australasia & Pacific Regions.
Conducted by renowned local and overseas trainers and tailored for frontline and middle-level complaint handling practitioners, the programme will consist of four workshops to explore new dimensions for complaint handling, from managing the client to managing the worker-self, incorporating soft skills training and also the use of Information, Communications and Technology in stakeholder engagement.
Participants will be exposed to best practices at both the individual and the institutional levels and gain new insights into complaint handling upon completion of the programme. They will also be engaged in activities organised to promote cultural exchange and friendship among them.
