A two and a half day course that will explore some of the pressing issues faced by professionals working in correctional facilities is set to be held in Moncton, New Brunswick on October 19 - 21, 2014 at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The course features a variety of speakers on subjects like the use of force and restraints as they relate to mental health, continuity of care, treatment planning, judicial review of prison decisions, as well as comparative office practice sessions and facility tours.
The course is targeted at Ombudsman and their staff members, employees of federal and provincial corrections divisions, or anyone who works with offenders or ex-offenders.
