IOI | IOI President undertakes tour and attends Gala Dinner at the Bahrain National Museum

Following the international conference on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Ombudsman of the Kingdom of Bahrain, IOI President Chris Field PSM was given the privilege of learning more about the ancient and rich Bahraini culture with a tour of the magnificent Bahrain National Museum, prior to a Gala Dinner at the Museum.

President Field was honoured to sit alongside both the Minister for Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, His Excellency Mr. Nawaf Bin Mohammed Al Maawda (and inaugural Ombudsman) and Ms. Ghada Hameed Habeeb, Ombudsman of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“It was a pleasure to discuss a range of human rights issues with both the Ombudsman and the Minister, whom I deeply respect and admire. The Minister, a deeply impressive person, is a leader in the positive initiatives that are a hallmark of his country” said President Field.
