After nine years as Local Government Ombudsman (LGO), Tony Redmond will retire from the post on 11 November 2010.

Until his successor is appointed, Ombudsmen Jane Martin (based in the LGO’s Coventry office) and Anne Seex (based in the LGO’s York office) will divide the work of the London office between them. Jane Martin will also take the role of Acting Chairman of the Commission for Local Administration in England.

Tras ejercer nueve años como Ombudsman de Gobierno Local (LGO), Tony Redmond abandonó el cargo el 11 de noviembre de 2010.

Hasta el nombramiento de su sucesor, las ombudsmen Jane Martin (con sede en la Oficina del LGO de Coventry) y Anne Seex (de la Oficina del LGO de York) se dividirán el trabajo de la Oficina de Londres. Jane Martin ejercerá también de presidenta en funciones de la Comisión de Administración Local en Inglaterra.
