GREECE | Local Ombudspersons Network

Two years after the establishment of the local ombudsman's institution in Greece, the incumbents from 11 cities met together with the incumbent of the Attica Region in order to set up a local ombudspersons network.

They discussed common difficulties and best practices, while underlining the lack of incumbent appointment at the vast majority of the municipalities and regions; a phenomenon which leads to the weakening of the citizens rights.
