CANADA | New Ombudsman of Saskatchewan

In December 2013 the Board of Internal Economy completed the competition process for a new Ombudsman and the Legislative Assembly approved a motion today to make Ms. Mary McFadyen the new Ombudsman and Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner.

Ms. McFadyen is currently the Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada. She will begin her time as Ombudsman of Saskatchewan on April 1, 2014.
