BackThe Office of the Ombudsman (Commission on Administrative Justice) Kenya will convene the upcoming Regional Colloquium for African Ombudsman Institutions under the theme of “Repositioning the Ombudsman: Challenges and Prospects for African Ombudsman Institutions.”
The colloquium will be held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi, Kenya from 18 to 21 September 2013 under the theme of “Repositioning the Ombudsman: Challenges and Prospects for African Ombudsman Institutions.”
The main objective of the Colloquium is to enhance oversight institutions’ capacity to respond to administrative and political challenges with a view to transform public service in Africa.
The Colloquium will bring together a cross section of distinguished governance and constitutional practitioners around the world who are engaged in Ombudsman work to discuss a number of topical issues for the Ombudsman Institution in Africa in particular and the world in general.
