BackThe December Newsletter of the POA reports about the launch of the first “State of Human Rights Report” of the Office of the Ombudsman of Samoa in its role as National Human Rights Institution. The report was produced in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Forum and its compilation was assisted by the Pacific Ombudsman Alliance (POA).
The Newsletter also informs about a planning retreat held by the Office of the Ombudsman of Samoa held a four day planning retreat in response to the Office’s rapid expansion since 2013.
The Newsletter furthermore gives account of a number of ongoing training activities funded by the Twinning program with the Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea this year.
