Le Médiateur fédéral a recommandé à la Chambre des représentants d’ajouter à l’article 23 de la Constitution un droit d'accès à internet, à côté notamment des droits au travail, à un logement décent et à la sécurité sociale. Pour réduire la fracture numérique, le Médiateur fédéral plaide également pour maintenir des alternatives à la digitalisation et toujours laisser une place aux contacts directs et humains.

A l’heure où le déploiement des technologies biométriques s’accélère, la Défenseure des droits, Claire Hédon, a publié ce lundi un rapport pointant les risques considérables qu’elles font peser sur les droits fondamentaux, notamment en matière de discrimination, et appelle à mettre en œuvre des garanties fortes pour les protéger dans la durée.

('Expectations – aged care') and invites feedback on them. This document sets out the Chief Ombudsman's expectations for the conditions and treatment of residents in aged care facilities who cannot leave at will.

The Croatian Ombudswoman’s Special Report on the Right to a Healthy Life and Climate Change in the Republic of Croatia in the Period 2013-2020 submitted to the Parliament this February demonstrates the interconnections between environmental protection and human rights, provides an evaluation of the level of the implementation of the right to a healthy life as guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia and presents an analysis of the issues related to the protection of air, water and soil, light and noise pollution, non-ionizing radiation emitted by mobile telecommunications stations, sustainable waste management and climate change.
