The newly appointed Ombudsman of the Republic of Botswana, Mr Augustine Ntshomane Makgonatsotlhe, assumed his position on 1 June 2016. Botswana Makgonatsotlhe is a distinguished legal practitioner and public officer who has extensive experience in the field of human rights.
