CARIBBEAN | 7th CAROA Biennial Conference

The Office of the Ombudsman of Sint Maarten will host the 7^th Biennial Conference of the Caribbean Ombudsman Association (CAROA), to be held on Sint Maarten from 5 to 9 May 2013.

The theme of the Conference is: “Towards exemplary Public Service Ethics in challenging times: the role of the Ombudsman.” Keynote addresses will be delivered by IOI President Dame Beverley Wakem as well as Prof. Ayeni, Director of Governance & Management Services International (GMSI). Ontario Ombudsman André Marin will hold an SYT (“Sharpening Your Teeth”) workshop on the investigative system and dealing with modern technology.
