The Ombudsman, Ms Winnie Chiu, today (12 May) announced the launch of a direct investigation to examine the Government’s enforcement against defective sewage works of New Territories Exempted Houses (NTEHs).

The annual casebook of investigation outcomes, now in its second year, aims to be a tool for shared learning that helps build greater knowledge about issues for improving decision-making.

The Service Complaints Ombudsman for the Armed Forces (SCOAF), Ms. Mariette Hughes, presents the Annual Report for 2021.

The Ombudsman has published the 2021 Annual Report. The report presents information on the progress made in such areas as civil and political rights, social, economic and cultural rights and children’s rights. Key developments in raising public awareness and international cooperation are also listed.

The Dutch National Ombudsman, the Ombudsman for Children and the Ombudsman for Veterans have today presented their Annual Report 2021 to the House of Representatives.
