Le 28 novembre 2023, l’ombudsman des contribuables du Canada, Me François Boileau, a publié son rapport annuel, Faire respecter vos droits, qui a été déposé à la Chambre des communes par Mme Iqra Khalid, secrétaire parlementaire de la ministre du Revenu national. Le rapport fournit un aperçu des activités du Bureau de l’ombudsman des contribuables (BOC) entre le 1er avril 2022 et le 31 mars 2023.

From 31 October to 1 November 2023, Malta hosted a landmark event that brought to the fore a crucial topic in contemporary governance: "The Right to Good Administration: Myth, Aspiration, and Reality?" The conference, a collaborative effort between the Office of the Ombudsman in Malta and the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen, was a melting pot of ideas and experiences.

El 23 y 24 de noviembre de 2023, tienen lugar en Barcelona las Jornadas de Coordinación de Defensores del Pueblo sobre la protección de los niños en situación de riesgo o desamparo, organizadas por el Síndic de Greuges de Cataluña.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands consists of four countries: Aruba, Sint Maarten, Curaçao and the Netherlands. Each year, the ombuds institutions of the kingdom meet each other and discuss challenges, successes and experiences. This year, they met in Aruba as this country now too will very soon have its own ombuds institution.

Le Médiateur de la République M. Pascal ESSOU a présidé la cérémonie de Vulgarisation du Rapport d’activités 2022 de l’Institution couplée avec le lancement de la saisine en ligne pour les réclamations le Mardi 14 Novembre 2023 à l’Hôtel Novotel en présence d’un parterre d’invités (Présidents d’institution, Partenaires Techniques et Financier, Responsables d’ONG et autres).

On 8th November 2023, in a landmark event at the Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta, the SEAOF+ Meeting brought together member institutions of the Southeast Asian Ombudsman Forum (SEAOF) and representatives from notable organizations. Invited participants included the Ombudsman of Hong Kong, Commonwealth Ombudsman, Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) Malaysia, and the National SDGs Secretariat of Indonesia.

Cada 19 de noviembre se conmemora esta jornada con el objetivo de visibilizar la problemática y fortalecer el compromiso prioritario de los Estados y las comunidades para llevar adelante políticas y acciones de prevención y atención.

El 21 de noviembre de 2023, el Defensor del Pueblo, Ángel Gabilondo, y el presidente de UNICEF España, Gustavo Suárez Pertierra, mantenaron un encuentro en la sede de la institución Defensor del Pueblo con un grupo de niñas, niños y jóvenes, de diferentes puntos del país, que forman parte del Grupo Asesor de Infancia de UNICEF España.
