Ombudsman Diana Kovacheva sent a letter to the Minister of Economy and Industry Bogdan Bogdanov whereby she insisted that the interests of mobile service consumers be protected in a new indexation and price increase, this time for 2024.

On 24 January 2024, Deputy Ombudsman, Dr Dijana Možina Zupanc, participated in a meeting of the Committee on Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Disability, at which the issue of older people, primarily in retirement homes was discussed. She presented the basic findings recorded by the institution of the Ombudsman while considering complaints connected to older people, about which it also warns the competent authorities and reports to the National Assembly.

While discussing the implementation status of the recommendations on the study "Issues of girls' education in Sindh", the Ombudsman Sindh urged the Government of Sindh to eliminate the non-functional one-room schools and to construct community-based low cost primary schools to provide equal education.
