La Agencia Tributaria ha aceptado el criterio de Defensor del Pueblo y facilitará que los contribuyentes mayores de 65 años, que tengan dificultades en el entorno digital, puedan ser atendidos de manera presencial en sus oficinas. Esta medida afecta a arrendatarios de inmuebles sujetos a IVA cuando tengan que cumplimentar el modelo 303.

In his report released on 9 June 2023, "An Investigation into Toronto Community Housing Corporation's Tenant Human Rights Complaints Process", Ombudsman Kwame Addo says that Toronto's social housing provider, Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC), is not safeguarding the human rights of its tenants.

The President of the IOI, Chris Field PSM, who is also the human rights ombudsman for Western Australia and is on an official visit with his Slovenian colleague Peter Svetina, advocated the strengthening of the role of national institutions for human rights upon the conclusion of his visit to Slovenia.

La Défenseure des droits, Claire Hédon, et son adjointe, Pauline Caby, étaient présentes avec un certain nombre de leurs homologues du réseau IPCAN (Independent Police Complaints Authorities’ Network).

The Office of the Ombudsman has trained 68 Hospital Ombudsman from 34 health facilities in Salima and Rumphi districts. The trainings, according to Deputy Director for Investigations and Research, Temwa Mughogho, and Chief Investigations and Research Officer in the Northern Region, Mrs. Elleanor Kabisala, were aimed at empowering the Hospital Ombudsman with necessary skills and knowledge on how to handle patient complaints.

The Office of the Ombudsman of Ireland published its Annual report 2022. Among others, Ombudsman Ger Deering, hightlights the ‘shameful’ situation that there is still no suitable government support to help people with disabilities access personal transport. This is despite a commitment from government over ten years ago to develop an appropriate scheme, and reports from two government departments highlighting the need for such supports.

The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Ajaz Ali Khan, helped a complainant whose pension dues were not paid despite the completion of all required formalities, complaining that the department was delaying the matter on flimsy pretexts.
