En el marco del Día Mundial de la Salud Mental, la Defensoría del Pueblo exhorta al Estado peruano a priorizar la política de salud mental en la agenda nacional y continuar con la implementación de los servicios de atención en los centros de salud comunitarios, unidades de hospitalización en salud mental y adicciones en establecimientos desde el nivel II-2, centros de rehabilitación psicosocial y laboral, hogares y residencias protegidas.

The World Homeless Day is marked on October 10. Its aim is to draw attention to the needs of homeless people, as one of the most vulnerable groups in society. All human beings have the right to secure, peaceful and decent living conditions. The Public Defender of Georgia pays special attention to the supervision of the realization of this right.

Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina participated in the General Assembly and Conference of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) in Brussels. He participated as a speaker at a roundtable discussion about challenges in the field of human rights, primarily in the fields of digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and climate change.
