The NSW Ombudsman and Convenor of the NSW Child Death Review Team (CDRT) Paul Miller tabled the NSW Child Death Review Team Annual Report 2021-22 in Parliament on 25th October 2022.

On 18 October 2022, the Western Australian Ombudsman and President of the International Ombudsman Institute released his report on giving effect to the recommendations arising from An investigation into the Office of the Public Advocate’s role in notifying the families of Mrs Joyce Savage, Mr Robert Ayling and Mr Kenneth Hartley of the deaths of Mrs Savage, Mr Ayling and Mr Hartley.

Miembros de la Unidad del Defensor del Pueblo de Atención a las Víctimas se desplazarán a zonas de residencia de quienes deseen ofrecer su testimonio sobre abusos sexuales en el ámbito de la Iglesia católica. Así, en el mes de noviembre tienen previsto desplazarse a Barcelona (3-9), Sevilla (17-18) y Vigo (28-29-30), tras haber acudido ya a Pamplona, Zaragoza y Toledo. Las salidas se realizan cuando existe un número significativo de solicitudes por parte de las víctimas en una ciudad o provincia.

Federal Ombudsman Pakistan Mr. Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi visited the office of Ombudsman Punjab. Views on procedural and administrative matters/issues of both esteemed organizations were exchanged.
