In light of recent developments concerning the outbreak and rapid spread of the COVID19 disease alternative dates are now being sought for 12th IOI World Conference and General Assembly, which was to be held in Dublin from 17 – 22 May 2020. Ombudsman passed away
It is with great sadness that the I.O.I. informs its members that Mr. Ofentse Moatlhodi Lepodise, Ombudsman for the Republic of Botswana, passed away on 18 October 2011. Mr. Lepodise was currently serving his second four-year term of office.

The Bermuda government authorised the development of the tourist resort 'Tucker’s Point' without requiring an Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) beforehand. Bermuda Ombudsman Arlene Brock investigated the case and recently published a report on that matter.
