The Office of the Ombudsman in Malawi joined various Ombudsman Offices from all over the world, human rights bodies, grievance handlers, integrity organizations, and related oversight and regulatory institutions at the International Ombud Expo 2024 in Gaborone, Botswana.

On 5 July 2024, the Honourable Chief Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Hon. Abimbola Ayo-Yusuf has bowed out of Office in grand style after completing his statutory three years in Office.
