The Ombudsman of the Republic of Angola made a specific approach to the role of the Ombudsman in Angola, emphasizing the scope of action, extent of services, most recurring cases, and number of complaints.

Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier is calling on the Government to make changes to Oranga Tamariki on a scale rarely required of a government agency. Mr Boshier’s comments follow the publication of his report on 21 February 2024, that details complaints he has dealt with about Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children over the past four years.

The Office of the Ombudsman wishes to inform the general public that his Excellency the President, Rtd. Brig. Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has appointed Tejan Ahmed Israel Jah, Esq. as the new Ombudsman of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
