Last week, the Office of the Ombudsman together with the Malawi Human Rights Commission and the Malawi Legal Aid Bureau conducted awareness campaigns in an effort to educate people about the institutions’ different functions and mandates.

The Ombudsperson Punjab recently conducted an engaging and informative session on workplace harassment at the prestigious Civil Services Academy, Lahore. Addressing an audience of senior officers and trainees, she delved into the critical provisions of Pakistan’s harassment laws, emphasizing the significance of fostering a respectful and secure working environment.

A roundtable conference on "Protection Against Harassment: Legal Remedies and Practical Experiences" was held in collaboration with Shirkat Gah at Avari Hotel. The event brought together key stakeholders, including ombudspersons from various provinces, legal experts, and parliamentarians, to discuss workplace harassment laws, challenges, and best practices.
