    Study visit by human rights journalists from the Republic of Albania

    On 16-18 June, 2014 a delegation of Albanian media representatives, specializing on human rights affairs held a working visit to Warsaw. The group was accompanied by one representative of the Office of the People’s Advocate of Albania (Ombudsman). The purpose of the visit was to share experiences in the area of human rights media coverage and ways of cooperation between the ombudsman and the media. Hence the delegation paid visits to the Polish Press Agency and a chosen radio broadcaster.

    Following an invitation from Ireland’s Institutes of Technology Ombudsman Peter Tyndall met with them in Galway on Thursday 18 August to highlight his role in examining complaints from the public about the third-level education sector.
