El defensor del Pueblo de la provincia de Santa Fe, Raúl Lamberto, el gobernador de la provincia, Omar Perotti, y el intendente de Rosario, Pablo Javkin, inauguraron este jueves en Rosario un nuevo edificio de la Defensoría del Pueblo. La propiedad de 360 metros cuadrados está ubicada en calle Paraguay 756 y fue adquirida y refuncionalizada con fondos propios de la institución. Le permitirá brindar una atención de mayor calidad y mayor confort a la ciudadanía.

The second revised edition of a book by Linda C. Reif, now called "Ombuds Institutions, Good Governance and the International Human Rights System" has recently been published by Brill Nijhoff. This book uses comparative law and comparative international law approaches to explore the role of human rights ombuds, classic-based ombuds and other types of ombuds institutions in human rights protection and promotion, their methods of application of international and domestic human rights law and their roles in strengthening good governance.

El Defensor del Pueblo (e.f.), Francisco Fernández Marugán, ha comparecido este martes en el Congreso de los Diputados ante la Comisión Mixta de Relaciones con el Defensor del Pueblo para presentar los Informes Anuales 2018 y 2019 que realiza la Institución en su condición de Mecanismo Nacional de Prevención de la Tortura y otros tratos o penas crueles, inhumanas y degradantes (MNP).

Par le décret N-2020-0092/PT-RM du 13 Octobre 2020, le président de la Transition Bah N’daw, chef de l’État a nommé le mardi dernier, Mme Sanogo Aminata Mallé Médiateur de la République. Elle remplace à ce poste Baba Akhib Haidara qui était à la tête de cette institution depuis 2013.
