La institución remitió a los ministerios de Salud y de Educación oficios manifestando que padres se acercaron a la institución para plantear que el mecanismo adoptado en medio de la pandemia limita la formación de sus hijos.

Mr. François Boileauis the third person appointed to the position of Canada’s Taxpayers’ Ombudsperson. Prior to this nomination, Mr. Boileau was the French Language Services Commissioner as an independent Officer of the Ontario Legislative Assembly from 2007 to 2019.

Vendredi 2 octobre, le Conseil d’administration de l’Association des Ombudsmans et Médiateurs de la Francophonie (AOMF) s’est réuni en visioconférence. Il y a accueilli sa nouvelle secrétaire générale, Claire Hédon, Défenseure des droits de la République française et rendu hommage au travail de Baba Akhib HAÏDARA, Médiateur de la République du Mali et Trésorier de l’AOMF dont le mandat se termine prochainement.

On 28 September 2020, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo elected Mr. Naim Qelaj as the new Ombudsperson of Kosovo for a five-year and non-renewable mandate. Mr Qelaj follows Hilmi Jashari, whose term as Ombudsman ended.

The Office of the Queensland Ombudsman’s annual report for 2019-20 demonstrated how the work of the Office is improving public administration in Queensland. This year, the Office made 244 recommendations to public sector agencies to improve administrative practices and 100% of recommendations were accepted.
