La Defensoría de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes lanzó la campaña #MiOpiniónNoEsMenor por el derecho de las niñas, niños y adolescentes a opinar y por el deber de las y los adultos a oír.  Al detectar reiteradas persecuciones a las opiniones e ideas que expresan las y los adolescentes en las redes sociales, se propone esta campaña para circulación exclusiva en redes.

The Seimas Ombudsman Augustinas Normantas and the Speaker of the Seimas Viktoras Pranckietis discussed the human rights issues in Ukraine with the Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova. The Seimas Ombudsmen's Office together with other Lithuanian organisations implements an EU Twinning project aimed at strengthening the skills of the staff of the Ukrainian Ombudsman institution.

On 1 May 2017, the Québec Ombudsman was entrusted with handling disclosures of wrongdoings committed by or regarding a public body pursuant to the Act to facilitate the disclosure of wrongdoings relating to public bodies. This is the context for the Québec Ombudsman’s release of its first public integrity investigation conclusion. 

Le 1er mai 2017, la Loi facilitant la divulgation d’actes répréhensibles à l’égard des organismes publics confiait au Protecteur du citoyen le mandat de traiter les divulgations d’actes répréhensibles commis au sein ou à l’égard d’un organisme public. C’est dans le cadre de ce nouveau mandat que le Protecteur du citoyen diffuse sa première conclusion d’enquête en matière d’intégrité publique. 

La Defensoría del Pueblo se refirió al nuevo cuadro tarifario aprobado por Enargas que entró en vigencia el 1 de abril y señaló que el mismo no considera la situación socioeconómica de los usuarios y la evolución de salarios y de la economía en general. En el mismo sentido remarcó una serie de items a tener presentes por los usuarios.

The Control Yuan recently published the "Annual Report of the Control Yuan 2017" in English and Spanish. The report shows the Institution's activities and work in the past operational year.

Inadequate financial support provided to kinship carers and children from disadvantaged backgrounds being expelled from school at a disproportionately high rate are among the issues identified by the Victorian Ombudsman over the past year. Ombudsman Deborah Glass has tabled in the Victorian Parliament her second biennial report on the implementation of her investigations’ recommendations. Her report covers the 125 recommendations she made to state and local government bodies between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2018.
