L’ombudsman de Montréal, Me Nadine Mailloux, a déposé le 17 juin 2024 au conseil municipal son rapport d’activités pour l’année 2023. On 4 June 2024, the Office of the Public Protector released a report on the investigations into administrative deficiencies relating to the processing of gender-based violence (GBV) related matters within the South African criminal justice system. The investigation emanates from the administrative challenges faced by the public, particularly women and children, in the South African criminal justice system identified by the Public Protector.

The Provincial Ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa carried out an awareness raising campaign in the Southern Region of the Province in May 2024. This project was supported by the IOI's Regional Subsidy Programme.

La Defensora del Pueblo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, María Rosa Muiños, encabezó una reunión con representantes de organizaciones que trabajan por los derechos de las personas con discapacidad ante la posible eliminación del nomenclador del sistema de prestaciones básicas por parte del Gobierno Nacional. Los representantes expresaron su preocupación por la medida que permitiría que cada financiador establezca sus propios aranceles, en lugar de acordarlos en el Directorio de Prestaciones Básicas para todos los financiadores del Sistema.

An investigation of the Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea has resulted in the successful granting of the title of a property to the daughter of an elderly man who had resided with his family in the property for more than thirty years until his demise.
